Meeting a legend!

Being able to work with Cox Automotive in the US was just a privilege but being able to meet Sandy Schwartz was just amazing! This man is just incredible, not many companies grow to this size and maintain such a strong family culture. I don't know how I know, but I've got a strong feeling this man is a key influencer in my life. 

Failure is how I got to where I am today

I've some how desensitised failure, it just doesn't hurt as much nowadays. Failure to me is just a result, it doesn't define me as an entrepreneur or speaker. If the result isn't something you like, just change the approach.

It was awesome being able to be in the same city as Mike, we were both in Cancun speaking at an event and we put some time aside to do this interview! 

Always be prepared, don't complain and just keep beating on your craft

Because I travel so much I start to notice that as humans we're all the same, it doesn't matter where we come from and what our past. We are just all so similar, myself included. 

I fall victim to this often but when things get hard it's so easy to complain and just get stuck in a rut. I've started to condition myself so that every time I want to complain, I just go and practice my craft. EVERY TIME. It's working a treat :) 

Meeting with Speaker Bureaus in the US

It's taken a long time to be able to finally set up meetings with Bureaus in the united states. It still blows my mind that in Australia we have a population of 20 million give or take and in the US they have over 360 million.. I've had my eye set up the US for a while now and it's just amazing to see your dream begin to come together slowly :) 

Building my speaking career in the US

Being a speaker has always been a dream of mine, I remember the first time I listened to Zig Ziglar and Les Brown. I was completely in love with what they were doing, all my life I've actually wanted to be a teacher but I always put it off because it wasn't the "right" thing to do. In my life now I am pursuing my speaking career full throttle! It's where I am able combine magic with teaching, there's just nothing that I love more!

Mastermind.

From the day we started these mastermind meetings our lives and businesses started to improve dramatically! It seemed like a strange concept at the start but now it feels strange when we don't meet at least once a fortnight! 

We can only tell ourselves so many times that "I can do it!" but when you have 3 - 4 others telling you that "you can do it!", it does something to you :)
