I believe communication is the most powerful skill in the world - and that anyone can master it. My life's work is proving that, one stage at a time.
Origins
I was born Quang, the son of Vietnamese refugees, in a working-class corner of Adelaide. English was my third language, and my accent made me a target - I changed schools five times trying to outrun the bullying.
At 14, I changed my name to Vinh Giang and discovered magic. A single card trick gave me something I'd never had: a way to connect. I spent years obsessing over the craft and won awards at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. But my mentor taught me the real lesson - "when you leave, I don't remember the magic, I remember you." So I walked away from performing to teach the thing underneath it all: communication.
The person behind the speaker
When I'm not on stage, I'm a dad first. My son is the reason I built Stage™ - so I could stop travelling 200 days a year and be present for the moments that matter.
These days you'll find me at home with my family, obsessed with cinematography, storytelling, and helping people see themselves the way others already see them.
I believe everyone has a light inside them. My job is just to help bring it out.
