So... you joined a communication skills community
I know. It sounds a bit like joining a gym. You're excited for the first three days, and then life happens, and suddenly it's been two months and you forgot your login.
I don't want that for you. So let me keep this short.
The STAGE Community is full of people who've decided that communication matters enough to practise. That's the whole qualifying criteria. You don't need to be good at it yet. You don't need to enjoy public speaking (most of us didn't when we started). You just need a willingness to try things, mess them up, laugh about it, and try again.

That's the culture. Now here's what to actually do.
Your first week (keep it simple)
The people who get the most out of this community are the ones who do something in their first week. It doesn't need to be big. It just needs to happen.
1. Introduce yourself. Go to the Welcome Luminaries post. Tell us who you are, where you're from, what you're working on. Then find someone else's intro and reply to it. Say hello. You'll be amazed at what one small interaction does.

2. Jump into this month's challenge. Every month we run a challenge designed to stretch one specific skill. It's the easiest way to start practising without overthinking it. Some are silly. Some are confronting. All of them will teach you something.

3. Watch someone else. Find a video or post from another Luminary. Watch it. Leave a comment. Tell them what you liked. You have no idea how much that means to someone who posted something scary.
4. Block some time. We run live sessions and events regularly. Find one that interests you and put it in your diary. Future you will thank present you.

Four things. None of them will take more than 10 minutes. All of them will make this community feel like yours.
