The workshop in August will be held at the Hotel Chadstone in Melbourne. The address is: 1341 Dandenong Rd, Chadstone VIC 3148.

Registrations open from 8.00am

Saturday & Sunday: begins at 8.30am sharp and concludes between 5.30pm and 6pm each day

Monday: begins at 9.30am sharp and concludes between 12pm (midday) and 1pm

Storytellers will be able to enter 60 mins prior to the start of each day and spend time with Vinh!

Accommodation is not included, but we have negotiated discounted rates at the workshop venue (Chadstone Hotel) for attendees travelling in (Melbourne only) which can be accessed here. Details are sent after you book.

Hotel Chadstone has its own underground private car park with direct lobby access — self-parking from $45/night, valet from $75/night for hotel guests. Chadstone Shopping Centre also has nearby parking in Carpark F (restrictions apply, check signage).

Lots of energy and a willingness to put yourself out of your comfort zone

Pens and notebooks will be provided to you. However, if you prefer to use your own device, you're welcome to bring it.

A sweater or jacket, just in case you get cold!

An open mind and be ready to challenge yourself.

While we don't have a particular dress code, we advise you to dress in a way that will be comfortable yet respectful to everyone. We recommend layers as the temperature inside the venue may differ quite a lot compared to outside. Keep in mind that there's a chance you may be called on stage (and filmed) so take that into consideration with respect to how you'd like to dress!

Please come prepared with a story you can tell in 3 minutes or less. This can be about who you are, a funny event, or something that has led you to this point in life! This story should not be traumatic, or anything that would cause you to become teary or overly emotional!

The Stage Workshop is built to meet you where you are. You will be supported and challenged step by step, and leave with tools to own the room rather than just survive it.

We understand things don't always go to plan! If you can no longer make the workshop, we offer 100% refunds up until 1 week before the event. If you are seeking a refund one week out from the event start date, you will receive a 50% refund.
